Myakka River Rendezvous February 4 - 6

The first annual Myakka River Rendezvous brings traders, craftsmen and historical re-enactors together on Crowley Museum & Nature Center's 191 acres for an immersive blend of pre-1840s history and education in a beautiful setting. Visitors will experience vendors of unique wares, shows including “The Hole in the Head Gang,” live music, animals, demonstrations and great food. This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages. Come and learn about blacksmithing, yarn spinning, candle making and so much more! Experience Crowley's historical buildings, Native Village, resident farm animals and trails. Circus Sarasota 2022 February 11 – March 6

Sarasota’s hometown circus, Circus Sarasota, is ready to bring chills, thrills and laughs aplenty to audiences of all ages from February 11 through March 6. Featuring new and innovative acts, Circus Sarasota 2022 will offer high-flying action, heart-stopping thrills, laugh-out-loud comedic antics, and acts that defy both expectations and the boundaries of physical limitations. 24th Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival February 18 - 20

The 24th Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival is a three day event held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds to benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy continuous live music with featured headliner FireHouse performing Saturday. This year’s Festival includes a “Born To Be Wild” Kickoff Party, a “United We Ride – America Strong” charity motorcycle ride, 17 Class Bike Show, Stereo “Sound Off” contest, burnout contest, great food, and so much more! 1926 Sarasota: A Guided Walking Tour Experience February 25

Time travel with us to 1926 - a year of boom and bust, joy and sorrow. Experience downtown Sarasota through this historic and pivotal year. Each tour is approximately 75-90 minutes in length. Tours begin on the corner of Pineapple Avenue and 1st Street in Five Points Park (across the street from Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave.) and will conclude near the Palm Avenue parking garage.

Reggae Block Party February 26

Join in the 6th annual Reggae Music Block Party to honor the late great musician Oswald Caines of Democracy Reggae Band. This event will be held in downtown Sarasota at Lemon Ave and Main Street right in front of the Gator Club. There will be plenty of food, drinks, more live bands and DJs, Kid activities, raffles, and much more. You can also listen to a live Band and DJs on the inside of The Gator Club. This is a Reggae Music Takeover. In the past few years, we have had over 5,000 attendees throughout the day. Music Matinee: Harry Miedema and The Blue Heron Sextet - February 11th

The Sarasota Concert Association's free Music Matinees series presents Harry Miedema and The Blue Heron Sextet, this February at 12 noon in David Cohen Hall at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center. From 1976 to 1998, Harry Miedema was the musical director and saxophonist for the O’Jays, who received a gold record in 1991 for their album Emotionally Yours. He has made appearances on many TV programs, including NBC’s Today Show, Oprah, UPN’s Vibe, Sinbad’s Summer Jam, and the Showtime special, The Beach Boys. https://scasarasota.org/music-matinees/

Thunder by the Bay - February 14th- 16th

Looking for some local color and action? February 14th through 16th, experience the 22nd Annual Thunder by The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds to benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy continuous live music featuring national recording artist WARRANT performing on the 15th at 8:00 p.m. This year's Festival includes a Sunday charity ride, vendors, freestyle acts, a motorcycle show, burnout competition, great food, and much more! Rocket Man - February 24th and 25th

February 24th and 25th at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m., experience a re-enactment of an early Elton John concert. Rus Anderson has spent years perfecting the piano playing, vocals, and mannerisms of Elton John and has traveled the world over with thousands of performances to his credit. Goodwill Manasota's Mardi Gras Gala  - February 29th

February 29th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., experience Goodwill Manasota's Mardi Gras Gala, which features lively Dixieland music and dancing, authentic New Orleans cuisine, open bar, fabulous live auction items, and an amazing array of circus performers - from stilt walkers to jugglers and more! Guests are encouraged to wear fun and festive Mardi Gras attire. Tickets are $175 per person and all proceeds support Goodwill's local mission of "changing lives through the power of work."
